Our PTO
Our PTO is made up of hard-working parents & teachers who pool their talents to provide practical support for our school. Those listed below volunteered to provide leadership this year. Get to know their names and faces, and feel free to ask them if you have questions. We look forward to partnering with you!
President
Brandi Arredondo
Brandi, and her husband Mark, have three boys at home: Mark Jr. (Sartartia), Jacob (WSE), and Jack (WSE). Brandi got her start with the PTO as a committee chair for WSE’s Stallion Stampede. By day, Brandi works as a Senior VP in banking. The Arredondos both live and work in Sugar Land and love the diversity and community. Brandi’s hobbies include reading, cooking/baking, photography, and travel. On the weekends, you can find Brandi volunteering in the cafe at RPC Richmond, where the Arredondos are members.
Brandi is looking forward to embracing a new administration and PTO board and is eager to see the WSE families come together to support and encourage all of the students.

Communications Secretary
Raeann Dougherty
Raeann and her husband Jake have lived in New Territory for five years. They have two kiddos, Isla and Dean, who both attend WSE.
Raeann works as a substitute teacher/parapro for FBISD, primarily working at WSE.
Raeann’s involvement with the PTO began with volunteering at the Stallion Stampede and heading the Nomination Committee.
Raeann is looking forward to the new school year and the many adventures and opportunities that await. She strongly encourages all our WSE families to get involved in and engage with our PTO. There are so many ways to get involved or just learn something new. You don’t know what you don’t know, so reach out and ask.
Fundraising Secretary
Yadira Richards
Yadira is excited to be serving on the WSE PTO board. She is wife to Matthew, mother to Emilia, and a reluctant blood donor to the local mosquito community. Yadira (yah-thee-dah) is a wedding officiant and professional bio writer with experience in marketing and online shopping. She credits her success as a productive member of society to her parents and her conviction that, “Life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.”
The Richards family moved to New Territory during the pandemic. Yadira joined the PTO to meet people and make friends after being deprived of socializing for far too long. Her problem-solving skills and can-do attitude have seen her through a lifetime of not knowing how to ride a bike. She remains optimistic that one day she will live an Instagram worthy life. Until then, she continues to enjoy DIY fails, long romantic walks down the aisles of Costco, and lazy weekends with her family and dogs.
As a former child, she has seen the positive impact that parent involvement has on schools. She urges all the Ps and the Ts to join PTO and find a way to contribute – it takes a village! Click on the link below for more information on how you can help. Just 2 hours a month, or 4 minutes a day can make a big difference. May the upcoming school year be filled with joy and success for all who form this wonderful WSE community.
