Our PTO
Our PTO is made up of hard-working parents & teachers who pool their talents to provide practical support for our school. Those listed below volunteered to provide leadership this year. President
Mariko Brayley

Mariko has been a dedicated volunteer at Walker Station Elementary since her oldest child started kindergarten in 2016. Over the years, she has served in a variety of roles, including Room Parent Coordinator, Yearbook Chair, Social Media Chair, where she has managed the PTO's social media presence for more than six years, and much more! This is her second time serving on the PTO Board, having previously served two terms as Communications Secretary.
When she's not volunteering at WSE, Mariko can often be found substitute teaching at the school, a role she has enjoyed since 2021. If she's not at Walker Station, she's likely supporting one of her children's band programs, serving as President of the Sartartia Middle School Band Booster and as Co-Vice President of the Austin High School Bulldog Marching Band Booster.
Mariko is honored to conclude her family's time at WSE by serving the community that has been their home for so many years.

Jessica Leal

Jessica Leal is a committed WSE parent and volunteer with two sons entering second and fourth grade. She has served as a Hospitality Committee Chair for two years, a grade-level coordinator and was honored as Volunteer of the Year for the 2025–2026 school year. Jessica also serves at the chairperson for WSE to Shared Dreams, a charitable program supporting under‑privileged students in Fort Bend ISD .
Before her volunteer work, Jessica spent over a decade as a Montessori teacher, a background that continues to shape her collaborative, student/teacher‑focused approach within the PTO. She values the strong relationships she has built with fellow volunteers and remains dedicated to fostering a welcoming, supportive school community.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family. She looks forward to continuing her service on the PTO board and contributing to the success of all WSE families.

Treasurer
Erum Partida

Erum is excited to serve as the PTO Treasurer this year and looks forward to supporting the school community. As a mom of two, she understands how important it is to create a positive and enriching environment for students, teachers, and families.
In her professional career, she works as an Operations Manager for several retail lab locations in the Houston Metro Area, where she has experience with budgeting, financial management, and operations. She is passionate about organization, transparency, and teamwork, and is committed to helping the PTO make a meaningful impact throughout the school year.
When she's not working or volunteering, Erum enjoys crocheting, reading, baking and spending time with her family. She is excited to work alongside fellow parents and staff to make this a fun and successful year for everyone!
Communications Secretary
Sneh Shah
Sneh grew up right here in New Territory and is excited to be back in the area with her son, Ayaan, who will be starting the 3rd Grade this year. A longtime advocate for early childhood education, she has been involved in the field since college and currently works in Marketing and Communications for an early education organization. Sneh is excited to serve on the Board as Communications Secretary and looks forward to supporting the WSE community.
